PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Hard hats, high-visibility vests, and steel-toed boots are mandatory in all processing areas.
Clear Communication: All heavy machinery operators have the right of way. Maintain eye contact and wait for a signal before approaching any loader or crane.
Zero Tolerance: Use of mobile phones while operating machinery or walking through the yard is strictly prohibited.
2. Yard Traffic Control
A busy yard is a dangerous yard. We manage flow through:
Designated Drop Zones: Clearly marked lanes for residential vs. industrial offloading to prevent congestion.
Speed Limits: A strict 5 MPH limit is enforced throughout the facility.
Engine Off Policy: All vehicles must be turned off during the weighing and unloading process to prevent accidental movement.
